Our Story.
One of the Peace Region’s first homesteads.
Sweetwater Hill has stood the test of time, witnessing over a century of change while maintaining its rural charm. Originally settled in 1914, this land has long been been a place of hard work, gathering, and resilience.
The cabin, once a simple homestead, has stood through the decades. After a thoughtful renovation, it now offers a warm and welcoming space once again. The barn, with its timeworn exterior, has seen generations pass and now serves as a striking backdrop for celebrations.
Surrounding us: a blend of open fields, mowed paths swept with wildflowers and berries. The land offers peaceful seclusion and sweeping views of the Peace Country.
We are a small, hands-on family team. What you see at Sweetwater Hill has been built slowly - with intention. Our goal is simple: to live sustainably, eat with the seasons, and create a space where others can experience the same grounded connection.
The homestead has remained what it was meant to be: a place to live off & care for the land, and to gather in community. We are just the next chapter - restoring, tending, and sharing this land.
From it’s wildflowers to it's wide-open skies, Sweetwater Hill invites you to slow down, reconnect, and create history of your own.
We’re honored to continue the story here - and we would love to be a part of yours, too.
With gratitude, from our family to yours.
